but the first link is a fully amazing googlemaps style map of the day z world.  use it to get around easier and know where to go.
just look at town signs and match where you are.  helped me so much! finally found the airstrip, got an ak. going to a city now

it doesnt have a full legend, so it wont tell you where to get guns and such, but it will let you know where you are and how to get someone better.

i googled and only found the wiki but yea, they should really make these better advertised especially for new people.
my first time playing i literally spawned in the most bottom corner town, and first place i walked was right toward the END OF THE ROAD/MAP.
so frustrating i wasted 20minutes going back from that

the link you gave me, what are those dollar signs in some buildings on the map? that doesnt mean money right? whats it mean is in those spots
